Valencia CF make traditional preseason floral offering
Valencia CF made their traditional preseason visit to the Real Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Valencia on Friday. Ahead of the Trofeo Naranja game at Mestalla, the annual floral offering was made at the basilica.
The event was attended by the club's Director General, Sean Bai; Executive Director and Board Member, Joey Lim; the Director General of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, coach Gennaro Gattuso and the entire Valencia CF squad.
José Luis Gayà and Carlos Soler placed the flowers at the feet of the Virgen de los Desamparados.
The chaplain of Valencia CF, Álvaro Almenar, oversaw the event which is traditionally held before the start of each LaLiga season.
